Signature Program

Leadership Prince George’s Signature Leadership Training and Development Program is an intensive, 10-month educational and experiential program for senior-level public and private sector leaders focused on enhancing leadership skills, facilitation-enhanced networking, and developing a cadre of informed and engaged servant leaders. During the program year, participants receive extensive leadership training and have access to valuable networking opportunities with both public and private stakeholders.  In addition, participants will discuss current issues and participate in activities designed to enhance their understanding of Prince George’s County and the metropolitan region.  The program includes the following events and program days:  Opening Retreat, Local Government and County Tour, Leadership Development and Training, Economic Development, LPG Day in Annapolis, Health and Human Services, Public Safety, Education, Arts and Culture, and Closing Retreat. Completion of the program requires attendance and participation in all scheduled retreats and program days. The program culminates with attendance and recognition at the annual LPG Graduation and Leadership Recognition Dinner.
